I haven't had the time to play with this yet. But a drop in solution is attractive. Consider me first in line to order.

Happy to beta test and debug as well. I've written a few basic drivers so I might be able to help a little.

Anyone have any stock in the U.S. Willing to ship one?
-
Kevin L, what's a ballpark cost for that?

I had a similar issue but I just hit okay and it then reloads and connects.

any you can connect locally?

If you're able to ping the controller you should be able to connect. What version of c4 are you on?

I've only written three drivers but I would hope this would be straight forward. Although I have no idea how I would map a vacuum in terms of proxy or a device in control4. Probably would need to be an app in navigator to make it usable.
I'm looking for any API documentation for neato.

Buy me a bot and I'll write a driver. But the connected series doesn't look like its out yet.

Looks like the connected series could be very easily controlled if they have an open API.

Not sure about the botvac series. But I have a neato xv-21 that I added a relay to the docking station to have it start cleaning. It required significant modification to the robot and its marginally effective.
They do have a USB debug port that you could interface with as well as I'm sure a serial data trace somewhere on the control board. Again this would require significant modification.

Not sure about example one. But your second example could be overcome by making two instances of the driver and assigning one I hdmi and one to multi chann audio. Use one instance for movies and the other for audio playback?

HVAC control systems and their wiring are somewhat complicated to most AV integrators. Having worked in the HVAC field for a while back in high school and being a c4 diy er with a c4 thermostat, I can imagine where most HVAC installers won't know exactly how to wire in the c4 thermostat nor will they care much about working with an integrator on adjusting the settings(max runtime/min runtime, etc) on the control board of the AC unit. Most LV/AV integrators don't know that some/most brands of HVAC systems have adjustable settings besides the thermostat.

Can you load the old project in to virtual director in composer and right click and export the driver?
