I ran audio thru c4 not their music device and I control it with a Knocki via IFTTT so I can change stations, mute etc.  I have a linen closet that shares a wall with the steam shower so the Knocki is in that linen closet.

Will this allow better integration? IE Will it report to c4 which zone caused failure to arm, which zone is open if want to use the new weather and voice app to say family room window is open and it will rain in two hours, will it report which alarm code was used to disarm. None of these work currently on 2.10.6

I have a minor in comp sci and know how to code. Do end users have access to the driver editor or is it only dealers. I went on the control4 user page and there isn't a download link. 

Does this require composer pro or can it be done on HE?

@South Africa C4 user I'm still on 2.10.6. Not ready to go to 3.1 yet

I have the houselogix driver for hikvision and the NvR with c4 firmware. Do I need a different driver?

This can't be very complicated. I know it's not a jump to camera but I cannot find any other function capture the image as a still

Do you mean my dealer will be linked or the remote programmer will be linked?

Got it fixed - authentication needs to be digest and not basic. I have the snap shot URL but am sure how to program to take the snapshot and send it. I pasted the URL into an email notification message and I get the URL in the body and not the photo itself

I wish C4 would allow for dealer info and a separate spot for a remote programmer on our customer profile. I don't want to remove my dealer as they still help me with new equipment and the monitor my system remotely but I also have the need for a remote programmer for some complex programming that my dealer doesn't have time for

How do I fix "bad creds" ? Do you mean login and password for the IP camera?

I went into the camera properties in monitoring and found "get snapshot URL". I tested it and it failed error 401 unauthorized.

My cameras are plugged into a cisco switch and I have the houselogix HikVision NVR driver. I can see the cameras and feed on the C4 OSD and my popups work on my touchscreen when a door bell is pressed. Just can't seem to figure out how to send a still image via push or email

I have an exterior motion detector. I'd like it to push a snapshot of an image from the Hikvision IP camera in the area when motion is sensed. I cannot figure out where to take the snapshot of the IP camera image. I looked at the action panel for the camera and there is no option to take snapshot or store image. I'm on 2.10.6. I think I have to use the email notification as push doesn't allow images? 

Ok, best to wait for next year's atsc 3.0 and a driver for direct app launching. Sticking with the roku ultras I have

Has anyone looked at the TiVo edge? Of course in Canada we get the 500gb version instead of 2tb. It has 4k HDR hr10,HLG,DV and atmos. 

I wonder what version of Atsc it has as 3.0 was just announced last year for over-the-air 4k streaming. 

I don't see the mention of IP control.

I currently have interlogix and have realized that I cannot program higher level automation. I would like to be able to get the following info from an alarm:

1. Which user code disarmed

2. Which zone caused the alarm to fail to arm

3. Report open zones for other programming...ie using dark sky weather driver to signal a storm is forecast for two hours, x, y and Z windows are open. 

Will DSX neo or Elk do that? Interlogix does not

I thought about that but we have the locks on different timers depending on which door and circumstances. The timer would not work for us. We adjust the lockout timers at least 3 times a week for most doors. 

Can anyone tell me which alarm panels will allow this functionality. My dealer believes that my GE interlogix panel doesn't. It also won't record which alarm disarm code was used...IE if I want to track use disarmed the alarm. We are using the Interlogix driver. 

Somehow C4 is smart enough to report which zone is open but we cannot find where this information is stored in a variable which can be read and programmed with

I had a previous thread where I was hoping for a solution to prevent the deadbolt from firing when the door is open and causing damage to the door frame when the door closes. 

@RyanE created a driver - Door Auto Lock Experience button driver which fixes this. However, I was told by my installer that we can no longer use the T3 TS to adjust the autolock timer. We do this quite frequently and have 9 Yale locks. I cannot lose this functionality.  I then began to think how to program what I need without losing the ability to use the T3 TS to change the autolock timer.
