Just to be clear here's the process that I went through. First go into composer and delete the scene in voice properties. Then go into your Alexa app and delete the scene. Then go to control4 untick, save changes, refresh. Hope this helps

Maybe something in the Alexa app. I don't know but maybe if you disable the Control4 skill and then enable it. Also if you delete let's say for example pool lights in the Alexa app and then go to Control4 and untick save changes then refresh. I'm trying to solve one of the problems myself to no avail. Remember disable the control4 skill your password will be required to reconnect to controller

Where do you find the history log You are right about Assuming Alexa isn’t saying she failed. I get a ding as if the command was followed.

This is just driving me crazy no matter what I do I cannot get the scene voice activated. Alexa recognizes the scene when I run discovery. It works when I execute from composer. But when I give Alexa the voice command nothing.

How do you eliminate a scene from your voice control on customer control4.com I have eliminated the scene on the Alexa app and also in composer home. But it still shows up on the customer control4.com. I'm trying to redo the scene to get it to work

Is there any reason why that when you give a voice command that some of the actions work and others don't. For an example in my set up. Projector turns on, Zappiti turns on, receiver turns on, actuator (Controls the lift) does not, lighting scene does not.

I'm having the same problems although every command but one still works. Did everything that Don did in the above post.

I'm having trouble with my Alexa voice control. Last night when trying to watch a movie in my outdoor theater giving the command to alexa to turn on the outdoor theater some of the actions worked but others didn't. What worked was the projector,receiver, zappiti. What did not work was lighting and actuator. The actuator lifts the projector out of the table on the deck. So far I have unplugged the EA-5, disabled and enabled the Alexa skill. So after I did that nothing works. The strange thing is when I when I execute it from composer it works. Any advice thanks

Those of you that have the newer zappiti player would you please give me some recommendations on programming a voice command. My voice command program seems to be long and drawn out. I would like the voice command to end up on the Zappiti movie poster screen then I can just pick a movie Does anyone have any recommendations in the zappiti settings to decrease the startup time? For example eliminating the tips page. Here is what I have for the voice command.

I do have a Generac generator that kicks on 30 seconds after a power outage. I don't know if that would make a difference

I love power outages at my house. Every time there's an outage something quits working in control4. This time the zappiti will not power on or off. All other control4 functions are working. Any ideas would be helpful thank you.

In My answer I failed to tell you that the IP address in the subsection 428 of the DSC has to be the same as the Director

Yes i did. What had happened when the power fluctuation in the house caused the ip address to change in the director. In the DSC neo in subsection 428 i had to change the ip address. Then I went into the router and reserved the ip address of the director so it wouldn't happen again. Remember that the DSC needs two IP addresses. One to connect the neo to your network the other in the sub section of the DSC neo to connect to the Director.

Sorry I can't help you. I don't think I ever resolved this problem. What I did was switched from a dune to a zappiti with the chowmain driver.

I have access to the panel just don' know why the control4 T3 and iPad says offline. Turns out that the NEO is online. This was a total do it yourself project when installed. Never had any trouble before the system has been in the house for five years.

After a power outage I can't get my DSC neo back on line. Did the power cycle on the neo. Unplugged and plugged in EA 5 . Did a reset on the router. The neo doesn't show up in the router. Does anybody know how to get into the neo programming and get it back online?
