Is there anything that I can purchase that can help solve the problem of the HDMI handshake other than cables. Sometimes when switching to different video sources I get the blue screen.

Problem is not only is it doing it when watching dish also does it when watching movies through zappiti. Could something in the Control4 programing be causing this.

I've been troubleshooting this today. Yes the receiver is set to passthrough. I did change the input on the marantz receiver which did change the blue screen to obtain a picture. The other thing I found curious if I used the remotes to turn on projector, receiver, and dish, and then changed the channel there was no problem. Then I used the iPad pressed the dish hopper icon and the blue screen appeared.

Thanks for the reply. The projector is a JVC RS 2000. Running from the reciever as passthrough. I was hoping someone experienced the same problem. I am currently trying to pinpoint the problem but running out of ideas. I'll tell you one thing it's annoying as hell. Thanks

I have a problem that whenever I give a command by voice via Alexa to turn on tv everything works properly. Projector turns on sound turns on and I have a picture on the screen. Then if I press any button on the iPad for example, change the channel, the picture goes blue. Then I have to change the input to 1 than back to 2 on my jvc projector to get the picture back. First I thought it would be HDMI handshake. But why under a voice command I would get a picture but then when I select a channel change the picture would go blue. Same scenario happens when I use the iPad to turn on the projector. Press dish hopper projector turns on picture comes up change the channel screen goes blue.

Never mind I found my mistake.

Can someone tell me the steps to get a macro to work with alexa.

I have some questions about the zeppiti player I'm having some problems. Is this ip controllable? If the player is off will it still stay connected to the network? Also I can't get the player to play the movie from the coverart on the iPad .

Does Plex with Roku handle all formats? Also can zappiti be used with the nas?

That's what I have been using. It seems cover art has all disappeared in composer. When was the latest update

I currently have a dune media server with a synalogy Nas. I would like to use a Plex app but not sure that Dune supports this. Those of you that have a dune media server how do you have it set up. I would like to use chowmein driver but again I'm not sure dune support this.

I have had instances that whenever the cover art disappeared in composer it disappeared on my panels. If for some reason if the power went out in the house or I had to refresh navigators or do a reboot on my controller I will no longer have the artwork. This has happened before but I was able to run a scan get my artwork back and also get the artwork back on my panels. Not using my phone

Still can't figure out why my cover our disappeared from my composure home edition after updating. If anybody has any ideas please respond. The cover art remains on the iPad and the T3 wall touchscreen. I can't even get it to scan to retrieve the art

So I updated my composer today and I lost all my cover art . Any suggestions on how to get it back

The power went out in my home and when the power resumed the T3 touchscreen would not reconnect to my system.It says the device cannot be identified no connection to the Director. How do I reconnect the touchscreen ?

The Zwave control 4 module and the drivers are added to my system. With an aeotec range extender 6 . My problem is some of the zwave recepticals are inconsistent at times because of the distance. I need to add another extender aeotec 7. It has been a while but I do believe that I added the extender 6 myself but I cannot find any instruction on how to do this. I was hoping someone on this forum and was able to help. Thanks

I already have the driver for the Z wave. Do I also have to have a dealer add the extender

How do you connect this range extender to the zwave module.

Go into the Alexa app and go to skills & games ,go to your skills tap on control4 icon, disable skill and then enable. This should work I had the same problem yesterday
