What does this have to do with C4 hating? lol
This is a legit question for any dealer that may have a career change and is heavily invested. This isn't the normal customer dealer model discussion. The circumstances are very different. I am certified, I am a dealer, I just may not be in the future and I have heard of people signing up former dealers. It also doesn't really break C4 regulations either. If they list me as a dealer, I am certified. It doesn't state they have to have me on payroll. I could "freelance" and only touch my own system. It is a bit of a grey area.

I can tell you right now, if I was the owner of a dealer, and someone in my city came to me I would for sure, 100%, allow them a deal login to work on their own system free of charge. I think it is only the fair thing to do, and it is a bit ridiculous that C4 doesn't do this when so many other dealer based model companies DO offer this.

I am lucky enough to have a few friends in the industry that allow me to use their logins for pro so I can maintain my system but essentially you get to kick rocks which is shit compared to crestron as a certified programmer you can freelance

We had a discussion about SPI and Pixel LED on the forum if I remember... Long story short, Pixel LED or SPI will work with DMX and with our driver but remember each "RGB Pixel" use 3 DMX channels, so if you're using a strip with 150 pixel, that mean 150x3 channel used, that is already a huge load for a Control4 controller, each DMX Channel is a "Light" for C4... So yes, it will work, but don't try to control a large number of pixel LED (some use more than one DMX Universe), C4 is just not deisgned for that. I would stick with 200 channel or less.

I dont totally agree...  In many situations we dont have feedback yet things work reliably...

The fact we dont have feedback isnt "ideal" but its not an excuse for it not being reliable.  My question remains, does the driver currently support TCP?  Would you be able/willing to add TCP support?

TCP would make it more reliable in theory at least, as with UDP you are sending off a packet without any type of confirmation it was received.  In TCP mode, there is a connection made to the bridge, and then a command is sent.  There is still no "response" to the command, but at least you have a connection state.

Other solutions are using this and you can read online the feedback is generally extremely positive?

thanks for your time considering this.
