I have a clare NVR that is working and can be viewed in the C4 UI. When clicking on the camera the larger picture comes up but only a snapshot still, but it does update every 30 seconds.

Spoke to tech support at C4 and Clare, neither were any help and can not figure it out.

Any idea what could be wrong? It used to work just fine from what the customer says. Only thing that changed when it stop was connecting a HDMI from the EA-3 to a TV so they could view the camera's with the UI.

The Chime works just fine and shows a live view.

I have had this issue at 2 customers homes. Both happen after a power outage. I talked to Qmotion and they told me the shades were on a older firmware and need to be updated. The problem is the only way to update them is to remove them from C4 and put them on a zigbee server from Lagrand, then they can update them.

I have apt. to do this but I may try to put the shades on a seperate zigbee server first. I have 3 wired ones and the rest are battery, they all stop working. 

I have a Beautyrest Black bed, controlled from my phone app and a rf remote. Is there a way or driver I can use to be able to integrate it to my C4, so I can use only 1 remote? Would like to use the custom buttons on my 260.

Dont use sddp, just add a driver from a 8000 series TV and do it all manually. Thats what I did on mine and all 3 TV's work great. But you do have to activate IP control on the TV first. Also just remember there is a delay in turning on the TV after you shut it off, about 30-45 seconds. It is in the documentation of the driver.  

Will this work with the 960? I would like to test it too.

I want to have lights come on and off in rooms while it is running. Mainly in the basement, it cleans better with light so it can see where is has been and then shows the map of what was cleaned.

Where do you want to see the camera? On a TV, on a Echo?

If you want to see it on a TV, just program a voice command for it to display each camera. 

Never had a issue with my switches. Have 2 managed and 1 unmanaged, a pdu, and RK-1. All have been working great since install and never reset.

Maybe my transformer is the wrong one? To much power maybe? I think there are only 2 screws on mine and I don’t think either of them are labeled load.

I got the ELK 930 connected properly, but when I press the doorbell the only thing that rings is the basic chime installed in the house.

Now I know its connected right because when I unplug the contact from my 800 it fires the chime and the lights go on. And also when I plug it back in. 

What could be wrong? Is the transformer to much voltage, to little voltage? The basic chime not pulling enough to trigger?

Well the senors are able to be seen in C4. They are attached to a thermostat, and not a stand alone temp sensor. 

So I am going now to get the sensor. It should work cause it just uploads to the Nest cloud. So I am hoping to be able to see the temp in C4. If it works I will get one for my Kegerator so I can keep a eye on the temp inside that too. I will report back on what I find.

I get that. But I want to adjust the temp in the basement. My main floor furnace also heats the basement. The nest is on the main floor which may be 67 but the basement is only 62.

The sensor can tell what the temp is and turn on the heat to get the basement to 67. Now in return the main floor may go higher then too, which is ok.

So I need to get the senor into Control4, but it connects to the main floor therm by Bluetooth.

Hope that clears some things up as to why I want to use the sensor.

Yeah, I guess it would be for HVAC.

But now I did find out the Nest has a Temp sensor. Does anyone know if I can intergrade that into my project?

Want to set up when basement TV is on, set Temp on the sensor to 67.

I have a Nest installed on my main level, works great and I love it. I just recently finished my basement and I want some control over that furnace or A/C. I do have 2 Nest in the house, one for bedrooms and one for the main floor.

Can I install a second one in the basement and connect it to the main level one so I can set the basement to a certain temp?

With the new ip driver it works well, expect for the art mode.

I don't want it connected to my alarm, I have a Honeywell Vista. I just want to have the doorbell ring over my amp when it's pushed. Would like to have the porch and foyer light come on at night and play a announcement in the basement over the amp. So I really just want to have my controller sense a button push from my doorbell. I am not able to put a D2S in, no wire for it and no room. Is it possible to do what I want?

I have a ELK 930 connected to my doorbell. The mechanical bell works fine with everything hooked up. I have cat6 running to my 800. I tried the wires to the 12v and Neg, 12v and sig, sig and neg. I have the cat6 into the elk 930 out and neg connection points. I can not get the announcement to activate, i also programmed a light to go to see if it working, nothing happens.

I put in a generic doorbell into the project, and connected it to contact 1 on my 800.

Am I missing something or do i not have it connected to the right spots?

Dont think you will be able to do all that programing with HE, you will need pro. Contact your dealer and I'm sure they will be able to help you.

Check your version of C4 on your phone app. then go download the correct version from your customer page. You can not do anything on the wrong version.

I guess I will try to update to 2.10.3 and see if that solves the issue. But it only happens within the first 20 min and only on my AVR in the family room. I can hit the play button on the remote and the music will come back on and stay on until i turn it off. It does not happen if I start the same channel in the garage on my audio matrix, but if i add the family room it will stop around 20 min after coming on. I wonder if there is some sort of setting on my AVR that is causing it to pause.

I get the same thing when listening through my Yamaha receiver. But I never have a problem when listening on my iPhone. Would think it would time out both ways.

Maybe the app on the phone does a better job of buffering, idk. I just live with the issue although it is annoying.

Maybe my late wife is playing tricks on me, but nobody was home all day till I got there. It's a mystery, but it's all working now so that's good.

Well not sure what was wrong, but got home from work and all are working now??????

Already checked all the breakers.

i guess my question is, can one of the C4 devices cause this issue.

i know there are more then 3 lights on a circuit, so that's not the issue. Other light in the room are working fine, and off when that breaker is turned off. All are in the on position, and nothing in the middle.

Im trying to figure out it's the C4 stuff causing this to happen.

LED's are off only on the switch, 2 dimmers, and 3 button keypad. All other LED's are on on all others in the house. All work fine too.

No i did not, it was 9:30 pm so i only checked breakers and all GFI plugs. Like I said it is weird that only 3 lights are not working, and the fan which is attached to the light in the master. 

But what is the air gap and where is it located?
