Here it talks about universal search.

Problem is, as long as the stream providers prevent the data from being hashed completely, no on will be able to do it (automatically)
I believe they are working on backend deals with services to get the data and selling companies like Netflix on more exposure for their content.

I feel like Plex is trying to accomplish what you're talking about. If you search in Plex it will show you all streaming services to watch that show on but it doesn't aggregate all guides from all sources... Yet.

Thanks again everyone, I think I'll try some baluns first. Cheap option if it fails. Merry Christmas!

All awesome suggestions. I was worried that audio over baluns would lose quality. In this scenario I feel like it would be overkill to have an amp and speakers for the turntable beside the speakers already set up in the room. I'll look into the sonos setup and baluns. @RAV I'm looking for mid-grade turntable. My receiver is a marantz, not that it matters really.

Hi all,
Currently I have a centralized rack which doesn't make it conducive to have a record player close to either of my receivers (one for game/theater room and one for living/main room). Is there a way to put the record player in the room and run a connection to the rack and maintain high quality audio? I have not currently bought a player yet (birthday gift for my wife). Klipsch rf-82's bi-amped in living room, cables run to basement rack. I have a spare cat6 and sewell 25m fiber optic hdmi cable in place. The game/theater room I can run any cables needed if I need to put it down there.
Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas everyone!

This appears to be the screen which you can buy on Aliexpress https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001888494870.html
@Amr does this screen work on the SR250 as well?

Is there a Sleep Number Control4 app?
Not that I'm aware of. There is a sleep number app. I know that some people over in smart things have used the API for programming so wasn't sure if someone on the c4 side had worked with it yet.
-
Has anyone used the sleep number bed api in control4? Presence, bed settings?

This seems significantly cheaper than somfy, but it also is less contained and not as clean. I like that somfy has the mechanism inside the top of the blind and the batter can still fit inside the frame behind the top of the blind, lasting upwards of up to a year.
True, I wanted to go that route but it's been advantages to just pull the connector off and put the wand back on. When you install the somfy, the tilt mechanism is completely removed. You are definitely going through the same thought process I did. Lol

Do you have the solar charger directly on the window?
Yes, the window is under a porch so I still have to charge it every now and then.

How big is the wall wart?
The have the firmware available so you can load it on your own raspberry (might even work on a pico).

Have two blinds in a nursery that wife wants tied into C4. Looking to retrofit (so battery) and just control tilt on a schedule or with wireless keypad.
Have looked at a somfy solution. Any thoughts? Any better or easier ideas?
I have Soma Smart tilt and there is a Chowmain driver to integrate. @alanchow

I just did the same thing but I added a control4 receptacle switch and I just shut the power off to the TV on a schedule
Sounds good, then is there a way to program a check if tv is on, if not power off room. This way it would shut off the receiver?

So I'm having some difficulty keeping my kids locked out of the living room TV when we don't want them on there. I currently have an experience button set up in a separate room that is only visible on our phones but somehow my six-year-old is getting past it. Not sure if it has to do with the Samsung TV and the 30 second delay between commands but I think I've got something wrong in my programming that it's not keeping the TV locked down. It's currently run through a receiver for all inputs. It's currently programmed so that if the video source changes it waits 5 seconds and then Powers down the room. I honestly don't care if they listen to audio but I need to stop them from watching TV. The reason I suspect the Samsung TV is the issue is because everything seemed to work fine with the LG TV that was there before.
Any advice or help would be appreciated

Kid / Teen / Guest Profiles
Any way to accomplish this? Just about every other digital service in my life has the ability to create kid / teen / guest profiles from Netflix, to Disney+ to Amazon Music / Prime Video, to YouTubeTV. Makes life harmonious.
What about Control4? I'm looking for a way for the kids to be able to have the C4 app on their iOS devices but only be able to access the media, lighting, etc in their rooms and perhaps a shared space.
I cannot remember if there is an agent to do this in Composer HE or anywhere else. Any best practices or workarounds appreciated.
If this sort of functionality is not currently in place, I hope the C4 Employees are reading and get it on the roadmap ASAP.
You'll have to check with the programmers but I believe you would need a "ghost" room that is mapped to the same hardware but you then limit what that "kid's version" of that room has access to when you choose what that navigator has access to. Then if you wanted to there is an access agent to lock out access to other rooms with a pin #

Just an update, I crimped a new cat5 connector on at the tv and I found that the wifi was still turned on at the tv so I turned that off. One of those seemed to have fixed it. It must have been wiggled too much when I switched the tv a couple of months ago. Thanks for all the ideas, it helped me look in other directions. Now I just need to sort out issues for another thread, lol.

Assuming it's not 'just' slow (and yes it's annoyingly slow in comparison)
Most common issue is that the TV is broadcasting an error for it's MAC/SDDP connection. This seems to be a fairly common issue with sammies, especially if there are numerous ones on a single network. My advise - ID it via iP instead of SDDP
Seccond common issue in weak control of power on is wrong MAC address in the driver (often it seems TV gets set up while on wifi, then moved to LAN, and this fills in the wrong MAC)
Third is that the TV switches IP address (not set to static or reserved)
Fourth most common is an issue in the LAN connection, causing the TV to default to Wifi (if it was ever entered) - tough part here is that it could be a could issue, a port issue or a more general network issue
TV is definitely on ethernet MAC address and the IP address is right on the tv(static from my gateway)

Samsung TVs over iP control will not accept a command for 30 seconds when turned off via control4. The commands are then queued and sent after the tv starts responding.
*Good to know.....
if this is an issue you could always send power on via IR.
I'd rather not but I may have too..
With regards to the tv not functioning correctly make sure you have followed the documentation and the settings are correctly set on the tv.
I will double check...thirdly, how’s your network? How are other network devices behaving? TVs? General control4 app?
Everything else seems to be ok...The only thing that is been not working is the Nvidia HBO Max driver doesn't seem to work, it keeps exiting the app back to the main menu screen.thanks
