Didn't mean to curse you, ha. Thankfully, this feels like an easy fix once they take a look at it. The driver seems otherwise flawless up until (for me) the 48-hour cycle...

Not your fault! I should have figured it wasn’t fixed yet. Hopefully they will sort it for you. I think that since I have Yale locks, it is probably best to use C4 zigbee. Like you said, that is one integration that really needs to be reliable.

  2. I had the exact issue you are talking about. When the lock states don’t match between C4 and August, the lock icon will just blink in the C4 app. I’m not sure what is different but they have been solid for several weeks now. My plan is to switch the WiFi modules out for C4 modules. I think it’s the best thing to do considering the reliability of my current zigbee devices. No actual fix that I’m aware of unless the driver was updated and I didn’t realize it.

  3. Look at Avneeds bashing c4 on a c4 forum lol. I Know several that replaced savant with control4 but not one replaced control4 with savant.

If Savant had more dealer support, they’d be hard to beat. The product has a more premium feel and is much smoother than Control4. I’m not bashing C4, I’m obviously using it. But it’s simply because there is only one dealer in my area and I cannot get support. Control4 is clunky. And even with the OS3 upgrade, still looks cheap. The only two things that keep it in my home is awesome support from the dealer I use; and that it works with may more third party devices. Otherwise, there is no comparison.

  4. Completely understand. I’m a nurse and we are still taking extra precautions. If you aren’t happy with him, there are remote oriole that would be happy to help. I use Ari. He is on this forum and is extremely helpful. I’m sure he can get you that card if that’s what the issue is. But it could be interference. Pull the card out of the lock and reinstall. If it’s not either of those things then I might think of swapping the card.

  5. There are different cards but if you don’t have the little gateway, it’s surely zigbee. I was asking because I just had the Yale locks with the WiFi gateway added a week ago and they both stopped responding in Control4. That would be your issue though if you have zigbee locks.

  6. I don’t remember being able to manage codes through the z-wave lock. Seems like it was missing a few things. As far as Vera vs. C4 dongle, there are far more device types you can use with the Vera. C4 dongle only supports a handful of items.

  7. I had one connected through C4 z-wave dongle. While it was super reliable through the previous Smartthings setup, not so much after I removed all of the other z-wave devices. The lock needs help getting signal of your a-wave dongle is far away. It’s a great lock but unless you’re going to add other devices, I’d stay away and use something else.

  8. Interestingly enough, it will not disarm with a macro ties to a custom button. I then decided to try and use the scheduling agent. Scheduled it or disarm and arm at a certain time. I ran the action from the scheduler and got nothing. Then I walked away and forgot about it. Amazingly, the scheduler is running both arm and disarm perfectly. It’s really weird.

  9. Using the Roku driver. I feel like someone from the company that made the driver contacted me and was able to set it up for me. I’m positive I was seeing two way feedback. My wife liked the Roku remote on her iPhone because it offers the keypad when searching for things.
