  1. Is there a way to place a Roku Channel (news12) directly under the "watch" section. Currently,  I have to go to "WATCH" "ROKU CHANNELS" then select News12.

I can do it for Netflix, Youtube, etc using mini apps but is there a way to have direct access to any of the "Roku channels" ?

Will the chowmain driver allow that?

  2. I have the QRS Pnomation III (that is the latest)

I have the audio output sent to my matrix for a source in the whole house audio. Its cool but would be nice to be able to browse from the nearby Touch panels.

I do have a dedicated Ipad that just sits on the Piano to select titles to play. Can also just quickly use your phone . QRS gave me a 2 year unlimited subscription for free also when my upgrade got messed up

  3. Thanks for the reply.

Yes I was talking about the MAC address on the hopper. I agree doesn't make sense. When it was first configured it was picked up as an available SDDP device in composer as a different MAC address as it shows now. Something happened after the dish tech added a Joey but as I understand, the hopper provides the required network connection for the Joey and its not connected to the home network directly.

  4. Does anyone have a problem with The hopper 3 changing MAC address?

Composer was connected using SDDP for weeks, then today C4 was unable to control it and I noticed composer was connected using an incorrect mac address. I disconnected it then reconnected it using the correct mac address, but I am trying to figure out how this happened.

Thanks Home Theater Advisor. It works, we just have to remember to make sure we put the spotify volume volume all the way low before we select "play on control4" otherwise it will do what just happened and started out at a really really loud level.

I added in some delays so it gives us time to lower the Spotify phone volume. So now I start out at 60 then 3 second delays in increments up to 95

    Go to the programming tab

    Select the room

    Select Audio Selection changed

Go to programming side and select room, conditionals tab below, audio devices selected is spotify connect driver and add to programming

Expand 'room variables' under the room name

select "Current_Volume" and enter volume you want the room to go below

Add to programming under the room selection conditional

  7. Regarding the volume control of Spotify Connect...

So we open the phone. Launch spotify. Select a song and send it to the spotify connect zone.. the room turns on and spotify plays in that room. All good.

We can control the volume from Spotify app but the room never gets above 40% volume level because we have the control4 room defaulted at 40% volume

Is there a way to make the control4 room volume level increase when spotify connect is launched? THis is primarily for guests on the deck who will not be loading the c4 app on their phones

I believe Leviton is HAI alarm panel. You have one of the best out there I believe. There are drivers out there for control4. No way I would switch. That HAI panel can do all kinds of stuff.

Yep. I have the Leviton/HAI Omni Pro II and the driver for Control 4. All is working great here.  Although the driver is pricey.
