Cyknight, I was able to get fios tv back, thru the controller, but now its centered upon accessing the rest of my equipment thru control4. Not sure if I can tinker with ip addresses, but it did ask me for the ip web address of control 4, under the app, but it didnt take. Can this be done remotely or does someone have to come to the house. My system was put in by magnolia, 4 yrs ago. I've been changing all my components manually back to the original network name, and it seems to work except for control 4.

Hi, thanks for the response, the extender that I'm using is an old fios gateway extender. Waiting for fios to send me an extender compatible with the new G3100 router they sent me. Would this make a difference, as the controller is tapping off the old extender. Would the new extender make a difference.? Really not sure what needs to be done, if there is a quick fix.

HI Swapped out my FIos Gateway router, for the new G3100 for 300/300 speeds. Working flawlessy before swap out. Control 4 controler ( Ea1) hardwired to a Luxul switch, where in turn connected to an extender. Router is on the second floor, and contrl 4 on 1st floor. I mistakenly changed the network name with the new router, and then changed it back, and lost connection to contol 4 set up. Hourglass on remote, rebooted both controller by taking plug out, as well as taken battery out of remote for a reboot, to no avail. I was able to get everything back on, under the original network name, ex. sonos, but not Fios TV. Internet working flawlessly currently. Can anyone provide some assistance, do i need a dealer to come in to put it back under the original network name, or should it remember it?

All, How can i tell if my control 4 is using the current operating system. My system was installed by Best Buy 4 years ago. We use the SR260 Remote which controls Rotel, Pansonic, Oppo, Ps4, and cable box.
