Why can't I seem to find this driver? What's the exact name?

I just added a new pico to my caseta bridge and it assigned it integration ID 51. The Control4 driver only supports integration IDs 1-50 though. Is there a workaround for this?

I’m curious how other people are handling multi room audio. I originally had a Control4 matrix and a Sonos Port which would output to the matrix. This allowed me to use the Sonos app to select music, but room selection would still have to be done via Control4. I eventually replaced my Control4 matrix with numerous Sonos Amps (one for each room). Now I can use the Sonos app for everything, along with Airplay2, and Control4 plays more of a secondary role. How are you handling multi room audio and what are some of the pros and cons of the setup you have?

I've created a new Control4 app for Windows PCs. It's intended to be run on a dedicated in-wall touch screen in Windows kiosk mode, but it can also be run as a normal app on any computer. It's intended to fill a similar role as the Control4 touch screens, but more responsive and better looking.

The app requires no drivers, no login, and no configuration. Simply run the app and it will locate your Control4 controller and connect to it automatically. It will use the same configuration as any other Control4 navigator. The app supports all your Control4 devices.

The app also adds new functionality. For example, if you have any Sonos devices, it provides a user interface to search Apple Music or Spotify and add songs to your queue. It also will display a QR code that allows your guests to add songs using their phones, even if they aren't on the same network.

My network requires that all traffic to the internet go through a proxy server.

Is it possible to configure a proxy that the controller/director uses to access the internet?

Does the Device Image Uploader tool still work with EA controllers running the latest version (3.2.4)?

I'm an installer, but I'm seeing this on my home system. I think Dunamivora might be right about NTP being the cause though. I did a tcpdump on my Unifi firewall and within a few minutes saw entries from the EA-3 resolving domains for NTP servers in France.

It's running 3.3.0.613856.

My Unifi controller is reporting that my EA-3 controller is looking up .su (Soviet Union) DNS names. What could possibly cause this? Has my controller been infected with malware?

Currently, unless I re-select the currently playing AV device from the Watch or Listen menus on the remote control, I’m unable to control the device. Even after I select it from the Watch or Listen menus, after sometime (maybe 15 minutes) the remote control seems to forget which AV device is active. Is this just how these remote controls work or are mine setup wrong?

Does anyone know if there’s any news on when AirPlay2 might be supported by Control4?  Or if there’s no official news, any speculation on how likely it is to be added anytime soon? The multi-room audio functionality of AirPlay2 is pretty amazing and much simpler than using Control4 to achieve the same result. It also just seems much more stable, or at least the Sonos implementation of AirPlay2 is much more stable than Control4’s current AirPlay support.

You can still setup Blueiris to connect to the Nest via their “public” url feature. It causes a significant amount of wasted bandwidth usage, but it does still work.

I'm seeing an error message when I launch Composer Pro 3.1.  As soon as I launch the application, a dialog box is displayed that says, "Requested value 'incompatible_update' was not found." This dialog is shown immediately, even before the application loads the drivers. Composer Pro 3.0 still works fine. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but I am still seeing the error message. Has anyone else run into this? Thanks.
