It does when your C4 dealer replaced original router with custom equipment as part of original install… yes, have reset all. No status change.
What "custom equipment"? There is no control 4 modem. So they may have replaced the stock ISP modem/router combo with something else, but that is not a control 4 issue. it is a networking issue. Do you have access to the GUI for your router?
Post a list of the equipment you have and exactly what the fault is. As matt asked above, do you have wifi being broadcasted, but no internet? No wifi being broadcasted? can you connect to the internet by directly plugging a laptop into the modem?

c4 doesnt have anything to do with your wifi. You are using Verizon home internet, as your provider? Did you reset the modem / router?

Don't use C4 Video Matrix. Use AVPro Edge if doing a matrix. Game consoles won't work centralized, no way for the handheld controllers to connect to the console from any distance.
Shields, Rokus behind TVs and audio fed back to Audio matrix saves a ton of $$ on video distribution.
Many ways to skin this cat, but good video distribution will blow your budget right off the abt.
Thanks!

Usually NetPlay residential systems have 2-4 "centralized" sources.
Cable/Sat/DVR (1 or 2 units, depending on # of people who will watch at the same time)
1 centralized streaming device (Shield, etc) For synchronized playback across multiple TVs at the same time (otherwise you normally use the local Shield apps)
Ultra Bluray or other misc legacy device (if you need it)
And that is it. Also keep in mind with NetPlay sources don't have to be in one location. Anything to put a little encoder on is considered "centralized". Doesn't really need a dedicated entertainment rack. You can put the sources anywhere that is convenient, so long as you have wired network there.
The main benefits are:
- Synchronized playback of a source across all your TVs (think party mode)
- PIP and notification overlays
- Fancy signage and screen savers
gotcha! thanks!!!
