fprefect Posted July 14, 2015 Share Posted July 14, 2015 I've used the Safety Technology International STI-34150 Wireless Driveway Monitor for several years now. It almost never gives false alarms and only occasionally doesn't detect a car. Mine is installed about 200 feet from the house, and about 50 feet from the road. The nice part is not having to run wires. I use the trigger port to close a relay which I have trigger the outdoor lights at night and send me an email when the alarm is armed Away. I have replaced the sending unit once due to infiltration by ants through the drain hole which seemed to make it go crazy, but it is otherwise a solid device.
