How do I integrate Heos Sound bar into C4 sytem

Hello all , im new to control 4 so bare with me if you please.

Im having trouble figuring out how to integrate a HEOS soundbar into a C4 system. I know it runs threw and app and im assuming you can learn codes in to it much like sonos can, how ever i just dont know how to put it in to C4. there are alot of HEOs drivers and the network driver dosent seem to be the one i need. All i need to do its control the volume. It's all running threw an EA-1 with an in wall touch screen (no remote , its a ball room ). Any help would be appreciated.

You need a combination of the network driver and the player driver.  the network driver makes the connection between Control4 and Heos then you use the player driver and assign it to the soundbar.  Make your AV connections, set the soundbar as your endpoints and you're all set.  FYI a call into tech support with this kind of stuff will almost always get you a quicker and more helpful answer.

i have 4 in my house - easy to setup.

1. add to app

2. add network driver and configure

3. add player driver and configure / bind

When you say bind, does it have to bind with a HEOS speaker or can it bind to a room's audio? I have a Denon receiver and a Marantz pre/pro, but honestly, I've never even tried using HEOS. I always use the audio streams in the EA-5 to play to different zones. Would benefit would using HEOS have over the standard media streaming built in with C4?

the setup for a amp with heos built in is slightly different.  Read the drivers help file - it's all in there, I don't recall it right now.

The benefit would be using services that are part of Heos that are not part of c4 native
