Yes it's possible, assuming you (and the client of course) understand the caveat: if you have an appleTV and a Cable box going to that splitter, you can still only watch one OR the other at the same time, and that if someone selects the 'other' anywhere else, it WILL switch the room that is watching the 'one' over as well.
