SMHarman
Is there a good reason this is a 2.9 driver only? Also what recommendations for adding 3 or 6 relays in a cost effective manner. Sensible also. 6 hc200 is not gonna fly. Though likely cheap! I'm thinking a used io extender or the chow ip relays and driver. Any other ideas? Cyknight
I/O is hard to beat, at least if it's in a rack. As for 2.9, it's because it is especially made for the new shades interface.

Is the 3 relay driver going to blow up / corrupt my 2.8.2 project while sitting in it? New shades interface. Sounds like a reason to upgrade. I'm going to try Alan 8 relay driver. http://www.sainsmart.com/sainsmart-rj45-tcp-ip-remote-controller-board-with-8-channels-relay-integrated.html/

Have talked to sainsmart about this and they acknowledge this and have done nothing to rectify it. Most blinds require 2 relays so i'm curious as to why you need 3? Is it pulse 1 for up, 2 for down and 3 for stop?

MorningRising 12V DIY Electric Roller Blind / Shade Tubular 25mm Motor Kit & Remote Controller https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DZQ43AI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_7CCuybJHZG3C2 Cracking open the remote I can peel off the plastic press bubble from the three buttons solder 6 wires and integrate. I ordered the widget from sainsmart, downloaded your driver, so between that and the hc800 I have 11 relays to work with.
alanchow
Ah cool. Yeah I did something similar with a motorised screen I have installed at my place for my projector. the remote was powered off of 12v so I hooked it upto my security system where I had a spare 16 outputs.
