Control4 NAD T758 broken serial driver

Hi there,

I have got know for test a Nad T758 with the latest firmware installed for a customer. Everything looked like it was working. I used the driver from driverworks serial. Everything is working except for the Room Volume feedback. This is always showing 0% Volume. The controls of the volume up and down are also working. Who can help me out? I can not edit the driver since I did not write it myself

Is it supposed to be a 2way driver?  Volume will always show 0% if it's just 1way.

It is a serial RS232 connection so it has discrete codes. It is a straight cable TX, RX, GND. For my knowledge Serial is a 2 way driver with feedback.

Just because its a serial connection, doesn't make it a 2 way driver.  There are many 1 way drivers in the database.  The driver would of had to have been built to receive communication back from the device if its 2 way.

Volume feedback should work fine in that. Reach out to NAD and ask them
