Eaton HALO LED compatibility with APD120s?

ObuseMe

Question

Does anyone have experience with the Eaton HALO H750ICAT recessed LEDs with C4 dimmers?

http://www.cooperindustries.com/content/public/en/lighting/products/recessed_general_purpose_downlighting/led/_6_inch_housings/_269399.html

I'm just about to have a C4 system installed as part of a renovation with a bunch of APD120 dimmers. The contractor doing the renovation bought a bunch of those LEDs. I don't see them on the lighting compatibility page, so just wondering if I need to swap them out.

Thanks

The model number you supplied is just the housing it won’t be on any lists.  You can use a number of Halo LED modules with this can. As long as the modules/trims are dimmable you *should* be fine.

FWIW, I’ve used a ton of Halo LEDs in the past with C4 and lutron dimmers without issue. Also I believe Cooper makes Halo products, and they have a few on the compatible list. I wouldn’t sweat it too much if you don’t find the exact model you’re having installed on the list.

I like the HALO color temp selectable units. Be sure to look at the ones that don't require cans. Depending on your structure these can be a huge help. Low profile. Super easy to retrofit where no light existed and really fast to install where no light existed. The color selector allows for shifting color temp for different paint, preference etc.
