One (the newer one) was the 'master' unit running the 2.xx update and the other, by default, I think had to be upgraded as I recall in order to work with the new software. I am not sure how all of that works. I pulled these out of my old home about 1 year ago and have the original boxes.No remotes.$ 250 each shipped to the US.
