cashmoney
Overpriced + underperforming = Packedge. This is a high margin integrators model that does not perform as well as others at the same price point. It's cool with some fun features but doesn't justify price. HookedOnC4
Check out Monoprice. I use a couple switches and have no problems.
turls
I have one pakedge on a rack that is pretty visible. I wouldn't buy them for all over the house, but I don't see much wrong with them either. But yeah, it is kind of silly to have a CI version of a switch when many CI's that sell them don't know anything about programming a switch. dgbrown
Why not take any switch and mount it using the rear rack. No cosmetic issue, full access to port and lights.

That is it come ore configured with a bunch of vlans. I'm not a fan of how they do it but for folks who don't know how to properly set up a network it's helpful, ie CI's.Go Cisco, Dell, or Netgear and call it a day. These are all proven performers and price vs feature/performance they will all be better values.
RyanE
Get a dell and call it a day IMOThe only Dell switch I've owned failed about 1 month after warranty, and it was a common occurrence.I'll never buy Dell networking gear again.RyanE
