Sprinkler system control

I've been using Irrigation Caddy for the last year and it finally looks like there's some progress on C4 integration http://irrigationcaddy.com/blog/ . There's a new driver in the online driver database, albeit one missing piece of functionality - Run a single Zone on demand for a specified period of time. The blog entry also suggests a 4store app - but again there's no 4Store app support on IOS devices so I guess the only way to trip zones while out in the yard would be through the Caddy's existing IOS app.

So this is huge - since I just messaged with the Control4 people (since they say you can control irrigation on their website) and they said they would get back to me ... they did not.

I almost bought another irrigation system, but being able to get this working on Control4 will probably mean I get this one. Not being able to run a single zone for a specified amount of time is kind of stupid though.

What do you think of the system?

Integrating the sprinkler system would be neat! I see that it has 9 zones but I have 12. Would purchasing 2 units work?

This looks pretty cool. I currently have a Toro unit with 26 zones. what are my options?

So has anyone been able to look at the driver and mess with it some? What can it do without the 4Store app which doesn't exist yet?
