Jeffrobinson1327
Has anyone integrated this with IR? How did you do it? What driver? Jeff
ichbinbose
haven't done one, but as long as the Bose remote is IR and not RF and you can find the IR sensor a driver can be built. ship me the remote and I can build you a driver.
Godzilla
Remote control is inconsistent or does not work• Check the battery to be sure it is installed properly or if it needs to be replaced. See “Replacing the remote battery” on page 14.• Point the remote control at the sound system when you press a button.• Check that the power indicator on the sound system flashes when you press the remote volume or mute button.sounds like IR
CFUG
^^^If one does not already exist, DriverWizard can lead you through the process. Very simple process after selecting a proxy device.

ashtonoprjames
Sorry to dig up an old thread, how did you get on with this? My dealer has just installed some control4 kit and has made a driver for the Bose solo which is controlling the volume and muting fine but he says he can't get the sr260 to turn the solo on as its a power toggle so each time the input is changed he says it will toggle the power of the solo? Does anyone have a driver I could give to him to try? I'm very new to control 4 is there a way I can play around with this myself? Thanks in advance, James

Do you know if it is possible to have the sr260 run this Bose unit then? I'm guessing so if he's wrong about the power toggle? Thanks
Cyknight
Hah- the SR260 doesn't "control" anything - you controller(s) do that. But that's beside the point. I do not know the Solo unit and avoid Bose units due to the many issues around controlling them, but in principal, yes it's possible - and while a power toggle is far from ideal, it is NOT going to do what he describes. If it does, there's an error in the driver.
