cannemi
I am looking for a relatively inexpensive way to take my DVD/BluRay's and put them into my Media library. Everything I am looking at is 2-3K for hardware. I want to utilize my current NAS but I am looking for a hardware device that will rip it the I can import right in. Do any of the popcorn devices do that? Looking for some good ideas. Seeing my current NAS is 20TB. Thanks

abeasst
I just use anydvd to rip all my movies and store them on my synology NAS. I then have my domain server run my movies with the mymovies EV driver to pull all the info into control4. I use a popcorn hour for the streaming. All in I have PCH-C300 $350, MYmovies $100, mymovies driver $100 (I think), synology NAS $1K, and my server I already had.
