control4user007
Hi everyone,I was doing some programming tonight and wanted to have a way where I could record the last time the "goodnight" button was pressed in my house (3 button keypad). My goal is to be able to email myself a daily email with some house stats including when the last time the button was pressed (people seem to be forgetting to use it here, want to get an idea how much they use it). Any ideas? Thanks!
RAV
Get a new free email account.Send an email to that account every time the button is pressed. You now have a log.
mstafford388
That would work. You'll need 4sight.

control4user007
So from what I gather there's no native way to set a variable to the current date and time? Also clever idea about the date with a scheduler!
THEORY
There are already logging drivers. If any of those show their source you can modify the code to filter for what you are looking for. Then email log daily.
