seth_j
Control4 provides a driver encryption program to developers. I have no idea how I got it... I'm not even sure if dealers can get it.. I'm really unhelpful. Sorry.

ericscales
And someone from Brazil will just crack it and try to sell it as his own. Right Bruno??? I always thought it would be funny if Alan crafted a honeypot of sorts. Some sort of driver that releases a trojan buried into the latest and greatest XBMC driver. A very quiet release, which is quickly pulled back for revisions. Then see who's having controller issues a few days later.

ericscales
I could of sworn it was a checkbox before, but now in the latest DriverEditor it's built-in to the "Publish" command. So when you click "Publish" instead of just "Save", it encrypts the driver. Here's the info straight out of the help file: Publish - The Publish option allows you to save you driver to any directory of your choosing. Your driver will be saved using encryption. The only portion of your driver that will be encrypted is the Lua script. If your driver does not use Lua-gen - the Publish option performs exactly as the Save As function .
