AceOfSpades
I have converted all of my video distribution to HDMI and IP. The one thing I didn't think of when I started pulling cable is the ability to play audio from mobile devices in individual rooms. Has anyone attempted to reuse RG6 to convert RCA Audio signals? I want to place a device like the Music Bridge throughout the house and then distribute via the C4 Amp or Matrix Switch. Then I can offer Bluetooth audio from different rooms. Would a RCA Female to F-Type Coax Male Adapter work?
mstafford388
Yeah, an adapter like that would work for audio. I would probably cut the F-type ends off and crimp on RCA ends, but if you don't have to tools to do that, you could just use the adapter.
SMHarman
Yes, just like runing a sub RCA cable over RG6
AceOfSpades
Great. I may consider this option instead of running more audio cables which may cost $150+ per run.
