Captain2107
Looking to add two button keypads for controlling simple ceiling fans for off and on but doesn't appear they will show on my GUI screens for iPhone etc. Doesn't look like the ceiling fan driver will recognize the 2 button either so can't use that? AHA
How about a fake relay driver and link a fan to that? In programming you can switch it on and off etc. Or use the new fan controller switches.
Captain2107
Thanks. Will try it and see. Will the generic "fan" driver show up under comfort as well then?
Cyknight
Uhm, what are you trying to do? 2-button keypads do NOT control a load at all, so one way or the other you need to have a switch ore relay do this. Normal switch would show up under lighting on all devices, fan controller is of course an option.
Captain2107
Sorry my bad. Just realized I mis spoke on that. I am looking to use a light switch to control the fan but don't want it showing up in lights (which I can "hide") and then link the generic fan driver to it so it shows up in the "comfort" section on GUI. Right?
Cyknight
Well you'd have to program that, you can't 'link' it quite that way, but yes you'd add a generic Fan, then program when fan is turned on to turn the hidden light on and so on.
