Gdrapeau
I bought some legacy keypads thinking they were switches and I now realize they are "keypads" and not switches. My question is: can they be programmed to act as single pole switches? I hooked up black to the "hot lead" and the white to neutral. I have lights (on the switches) and did the 9-9-9 to reset. They do not turn on the lights though. Tech is coming today but I am not sure if he can program them to just be light switches. Guy
msgreenf
No. They can be used like a switch on one end of a three way but you need something to control the load and a 2 button can't Sent from my XT1060 using Tapatalk
RyanE
As msgreenf said, they do not have hardware to switch loads, that is why they do not have a load (red) wire. RyanE
Matt Lowe
if you can get an actually switch you can use them in the same room to control the load, use them for media, or any number of other things.
