billb
My dealer upgraded my system from an HC500 to an HC250 with HE 2.5.3. He simplified the programming by using the advanced lighting scenes. This is fine for buttons that control many switches. However for the six and two button keypads in the same room he "BOUND" the switches. I cannot find how to change the binding in 2.5.3. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks, Bill
billb
After researching I see I cannot change the simple binding of switches. Thanks C4. So now I have lost all my previous programming and need to have the dealer unbind everything so I can re-program it. That should only take a week or two. I do not want to have to make N calls / wait / pay to my dealer everytime I want to change the switches in my system.
Cyknight
It's a new feature/option - it as stated simplifies the setup and makes for smoother control. However it leaves you unable to change it - your dealer should have informed you of this - don't blame C4 for it. SMHarman
What can't you change, you usually bind a lighting scene to the key. You can then modify the lighting scene.
Cyknight
^ True that, if you still want to use it for lighting, simply edit the scene, if you want it comletely different Advanced Lighting scenes can be renamed unlike the old scenes. Still leaves you stuck if you want it changed to do volume etc though.
