Woodstockjohn Posted October 3, 2014 Share Posted October 3, 2014 I am running Windows 8.1. I had to rebuild and reload everything. Composer 2.5.3 installed and works fine. When I try to install 'My Home PC' I get the following message: "Control4 for PC-Mac / Sorry, an error has occurred. / The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author." I have tried downloading and installing several times. Any ideas? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Cyknight Posted October 3, 2014 Share Posted October 3, 2014 I see this sometimes myself. Usually I just need to start the same install file 2-3 times in a row. Woodstockjohn Posted October 7, 2014 Author Share Posted October 7, 2014 Well, I have the problem again! I had to Restore Windows 8.1 to an earlier point before the MyHomePC installation. When I tried to install it I got the message, "This version already installed". I then tried to install MyHomePC five times with no success?
