Cyknight
Yes, if you want, feel free to PM it to me - I'm largely trying to determine some way to reproduce the issue.
Cyknight
Oh, and do please note that this IS being looked into already on C4's side AFAIK, but reproducing it consistently is always an issue.

LSDave
I know for sure that if you have Sonos with the new driver on 2.6, there are some instances when using Sonos that can cause the Director process to spin out of control which makes you system look like its dead to the user. The simple fix if you run into this is to delete any items in your queue in the sonos app. From what i've been told by tech support, is that if the new sonos driver requests meta data from a streaming service, and one of the fields returned is empty, the driver keeps requesting the field in hopes to get something. And that constant request that is generated is what causes director to go crazy. So removing the offending media from the queue, stops the repetitive cycle. And voila, your system is functional again.
