jdvachal Posted October 12, 2014 Share Posted October 12, 2014 Is it possible to wire one of the relays on a HC250 in a 3 way scenario?From the 250 to a fireplace wall switch and then on to the fireplace? I'm looking to control the fireplace with both the switch and via the navigator. Ideally the navigator would know the state of the fireplace even when the switch is used. Thanks all! Cyknight Posted October 14, 2014 Share Posted October 14, 2014 Well, yes you can WIRE a C4 controller relay fo a three-way type (you'd have to replace thhe normal switch too mind you to a three way unit!) - but the system cannot 'see' what state teh fireplace would be in this way. I wouldn't recommend it.If you have the wires for it, you COULD wire the old switch back to a controller sensor input, and have a change of state toggle the fireplace, with the fireplace connected only to a controller relay - that WOULD work, AND the system still keeps track of the fireplace state.
