alf1096
I bought the above TV at Sams. I figured the IP divers would be the same across the board. I can get some commands to go through but can get the power command to work. Unfortunately that is the only one I need because everything runs through my receiver. Any suggestions. alf1096
And I know IP should work because I can use the aqous app on my phone and turn it on and offSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
nawty
Look for the RSPW RS232 command online.... it will open the TV for IP control with the proper firmware. Not guaranteed but more than likely possible.
Matt Lowe
sharp is finicky with power if you follow the documentation that you have to use the ip power command action after powering on to have the tv respond to the ip power commands
alf1096
I tried that and it was still a no go. The TV is probably going back. I am coming from a plasma to a cheap led the blockyness in color is horrible and I think is see a lot of motion blur. It's so bad the wife even noticed it. I am coming from a pioneer Kuro so it's tough to beat even though it's 7 years old.

cybuch
Make sure you disable CEC and enable the IP control on the TV. After I did that, power control seemed to work well over IP
