badjesus Posted January 16, 2015 Share Posted January 16, 2015 Hey guys, I have never used cameras before with C4 and just setup my first cameras. On the Android App I can see my cameras under security.On my touchscreen (the intercom 7" infinity touch) I can't see cameras there at all. When I click on security all I see is the keypad for the alarm. (doesn't matter what room it is set to). Does the touch screen need to be DEFAULT to the same room as the cameras? Right now the camera I have setup outside at my front door, is set to "Foyer" room and the screen is set to "Kitchen"..... not sure why that would matter though....Any point in the right direction would be huge! (Oh, the camera is a cheap chinese hikvision and the driver is HouseLogix currently in 48 hour trial mode) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Cyknight Posted January 16, 2015 Share Posted January 16, 2015 1- You did refresh navigaotrs right? 2- the Apps can display stream h264 - native screens cannot. This is likely what you are seeing. Cyknight Posted January 16, 2015 Share Posted January 16, 2015 Look at the documentation tab: The settings for substream there will need to be set in the camera - that's the stream the native streams are looking for. badjesus Posted January 16, 2015 Author Share Posted January 16, 2015 Thanks guys, I am going to go double check my setting.It does support mjpeg to my understanding, and it does have the two streams.I did use the documentation tab of the driver, but may have something incorrect.
