ECD2 Posted March 12, 2015 Share Posted March 12, 2015 I cleaned up my cable wiring behind the entertainment center recently and I didn't document which plug on the Sony TV received the C4 control cable. vstar Posted March 12, 2015 Share Posted March 12, 2015 i assume the tv end is a 3.5mm phone plug? in that case it depends on what is on the hc800 end of the cable? if it is a 3.5mm phone plug at that end also then it goes into the IR jack on the TV because the hc800 end will be plugged into one of the ir emitter ports. if it has a DB9 on the HC800 end then the tv end goes into the serial control jack on the TV.
