AK1 Posted June 29, 2015 Share Posted June 29, 2015 Single Cat extenders are pre-HDBaseT technology. They would work in about 75% of the environments we used them in. They were quite prone to EMI. Plan B is always to use HD-BaseT baluns via the HDMI out ports. As far as the matrix unit is concerned and it's switching capabilities, yes it's functionally identical to the B-100.
