jfh
What does deactivate an advanced lighting scene do? does it actually do anything to the lights involved or does it just reset the activated flag that you can use to trigger programming from? Cyknight
It would trigger the toggle scene if available.
jfh
Thanks. If I have two scenes, A and B and B is a toggle of A: If A is active, is there any difference between 1) Deactivating A 2) Activating B
Cyknight
Somewhat - more particularly in the 'invoke' option. Programming based on 'invoke' scene B is not triggered when scene B becomes active due to either above option. The difference becomes far more pronounced when NOT tracking scenes and having not toggle scenes of course. If there is no toggle or tracking by the way, then yes your assumption on 'resetting' the flag is correct.
