Sonos Connect

Not familiar with Sonos but what advantage does it give me if any ?

I  get TuneIn with C4 and manage music via my Synology NAS / DS216SE .

I just keep reading a lot about Sonos on this forum and was wondering if I was missing out ?

well with the latest software you also add pandora shair bridge Deezer (my favortie) and Tidal to the mix. The new controllers also have hi res audio outputs. The major advantage that this is all done with in control4, no external devices needed.

 

Sonos offers a few more things

Wireless speakers

Much much more music services

solutions for almost any audio setup

some neat features using announcements. (i have about 15 doorbells, the key is the music resumes afterwards) control4 should be able to fix that any ways

Thank you for that info.

I have the HC 800 not planning on upgrading and the cost of Sonos for the little I would get is not worth the expense ....me thinks.

Pandora is a no go anyway.
