Dahua NVR and C4

Recommended Posts

Did anybody know of a good Dahiua driver?   I have the following equipment, and have been trying to use the IC Realtime drivers but so far 2 different C4 integrators have failed to get them working.  No matter what encoding settings I try I can only get 1 cam installed and then only get a very snowy barely visible video stream.  If I add more than one cam the NVR freezes up.

NVR = Dahua NVR4208-8P

2 X Dahua IPC-HDBW4300E 3 Megapixel 1080P Dome IR Network IP Vandal Proof Security Camera
4 X Dahua IPC-HFW4300S 3MP Bullet Camera

NVR Firmware is up to date:  3.200.0000.8 R  2015-04-28
Camera Firmware is also up to date: 2.420 on all

Oddly IC Realtime iOS apps work fine for accessing the NVR.

Have you tried using camera drivers rather than the NVR driver. We've installed several Dahua systems this year with Control4 and had little success with the NVR drivers. So connected all cameras to the network switch rather than directly to the back of the NVR and works a treat ??

Thanks.  No I have not.  What are you using for recording if you are not using the NVR and plugging into a switch? And are the IP cams n the primary network or spun off on a subnet?  I'd hate all that traffic on my main network...
