thegizzard
I currently use this for some TVs https://www.amazon.com/Global-Cache-WF2IR-iTach-Wi-Fi/dp/B0051BU418/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1477429640&sr=8-1&keywords=wf2ir Is there a cheaper alternative that is compatible with C4? StroTek LLC
uhmm.... Each control4 controller has IR outputs, and you would use that to control the TV's etc
zaphod
But those devices are $111 - how much is the cheapest controller? $600 (bundled with remote) for an EA-1?
StroTek LLC
yes, but a control4 controller is much more than a universal remote

SMHarman
I need a wireless solution. No Cat5 available at location. There is a zigbee to ir but it is not cheap. http://www.control4.com/search-results/?q=zigbee+to+ir+device
zaphod
You can also use a $20 mobile router to act as a wifi-ethernet bridge. A driver for a Logitech Harmony Smarthub would be useful to use that as the IR blaster as it can be controlled via IR and connect to your Wifi network.
