TheaterExtreme
There is a ring pro driver? What does it do?
msgreenf
Yes. It's made by blackwire. It allows motion and ring events in c4. No video Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
VINCELdUB
Yes. It works well. As reactive as ring itself to its own app. Not a ring pro per say. Just a ring events driver. Works with either ring version. Happy Automating!
mr. happy
Hey still a newbie at this. I'm interested in the driver, can I purchase it or does my dealer have to buy it for me?. Is this an official RING driver? Or am I going to have an issue if ring changes their API? Thanks

Thanks A dealer would have to buy it. My understanding is that this was based on a partnership with Ring and while the API may change Blackwire would continue to update it

Thanks The driver requires a dealer buy it and install it. They can do this remotely. We have a signed agreement with Ring. If they change something we will update before that change. At this point we dont see any changes coming any time soon that would negatively impact any of the systems.
Kevin L
We call it the Ring Events driver btw. It works on the Ring and Ring Pro. You get motion and button press events to program off of. https://www.blackwiredesigns.com/store/c4z-ring-events/
