Retrofit Kwikset 914 for C4

Hi all, I have two 914 Z-Wave that were paired with an Alarm.com system.  In reading around I see that C4 has it's own very expensive version of the 914 locks and that some have retrofitted Zigbee modules.  I'd like to protect the investment I already have so I was hoping if one of you could confirm that I could swap out the Z-Wave module for this Zigbee module?

I have swapped my 910 and 912 that came from home depot with green and blue zwave chips and snagged the red chips from eBay and have had no issues. Don't have a 914 to confirm but I would have thought it worked. Just pops in right by the battery tray.

 

Also there are 2 versions of the 910 based on product age. Some with green chips, others with blue with slight differences with the cable connecting the exterior tumbler to the board but the red chips seems to work in either one for me.
