CFUG
Read through the 2.10 Considerations thread and would like to ask a question. I have been told I cannot upgrade from 2.9.1 due to older touch screens still in my project. This is what I have: C4-TSMC7-EN-BL C4TW7C0-EG C4-TSWMC5-EG C4-TSWMBCM7DS-EG I have several of all but the DS. The way I understand, from reading, is these TSs will continue to function for the most part left where they are. If true, how would I not be able to update or what else is needed to move to 2.10? dcovach
BTW, there is a process to migrate those TS's but they will not update higher than 2.91. Still usable in the current OS 2.10.
CFUG
^Yeah that's fine. As long as I can milk one more year out of them (and I can stay alive one more year!). Thanks Dan.
Cyknight
Hmmm. The 5" and 7" without camera will NOT be able to do intercom, other than that you'll be fine. I'm guessing your dealer isn't getting that you are using an older DRIVER that needs updating before you can go to 2.
CFUG
^Correct, did not communicate that to me. The 5" units are worthless but I do have a number of 7" w/o cam. Fortunately (and strangely enough) I have V2 portable units in the same rooms as the 5" in-walls so not a deal to just remove the 5" units and do intercom through the V2s. Thanks! Cyknight
There are no 'V1' portables, and the portables came out first (of the V2's), plus the non-cam and cam wall units were sold alongside each other (and at different price points) so that might explain the 'strangeness'
