Music Starting Immediately

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys,

I’m running an EA-1 with OS3. Using the iPhone app, whenever I select a song in Tidal (for example) it begins playing right away and then pops up the menu for play now etc. Selecting “Play Now” starts the song over and I can see it twice in the play queue.

This appears to happen across services, so if Tidal is playing said song, if I go over to sirius and select a station, it begins playing right away with the play channel menu on the screen.

Has anyone else experienced this, or have any thoughts?

Thanks!

Ok, I’ve just spent 10 seconds on Tidal (using my iPad) and if I select a track, it plays it, adds it to the queue and plays it instantly which seems sensibly. Equally, if I click on the 3 dot menu to the far right of the track, it gives me various options (like play next) and if I choose any of these, it does exactly what the menu option says.

I did try hitting quicker etc, to no avail. It’s happening across 2 iPhone Xs Max’s running iOS 12.3.1. I’ve confirmed it’s NOT happening on an android device I tested on (Pixel XL)

So far I’ve tried deleting and re-installing the app on both devices, as well as deleting th devices from my account and re-adding.

One thing I haven’t tried is creating a new account in the c4 portal and connecting a device to that fresh account instead.

Not the end of the world, and at least it working proper on the android app makes me feel like it’s actually a bug on the iOS app, not my system.

I’ll keep playing around
