DS2 bug in OS3.1.3

Recommended Posts

My dealer updated me to OS3.1.3 a few days ago and I have been experiencing a few bugs.

The most annoying of these is that my DS2 no longer displays the onscreen custom buttons.  Is anyone else seeing this?

I should add that I have programming only enabled for the call button and one of the lines of code that I use is a group call from the DS2 mini to the relevant Touchscreen group.

This was working perfectly until upgrading to OS3.1.3 (although there may have been an update to the DS2 driver also).  Now I don’t have custom buttons on the camera screen so cannot open the gate while the camera is pulled up on the screen.

Hope I am not the only person experiencing this?

Not having issues with custom buttons on T3  at our end

Rats! Thanks! Now I need to figure out what is special (in a bad way) about my set up and the latest software.  Probably linked to the fact that I do a group intercom call from programming rather than using the basic setup.  I will have to try reverting to the basic setup and see if that changes things before getting my dealer to look.

Could also be the fact that my director is a CA10 as that has lead to a few weird bugs in previous releases (OS3.1.1 in particular).

In case anyone else has the bug, my deal has confirmed that there is a bug in some situations and C4 is aware.  A temporary fix is to untuck the check box “Exclude from Navigator”.

This does mean that if you have this problem, you have to uptick this box which means that other intercom devices will be able to call the door station (I prefer not to allow this... but clearly, having the buttons back is more important to me!).
