Luma 500 Dome Cameras

I have the black 500 dome cameras and they're working fine, but the clear dome portions have scratches and a film of some sort that I just cannot get cleaned off. Night use is pretty much useless on half of them now. Unfortunately, I am having a hard time finding a way to order just the dome covering because the 500s are now discontinued. If anyone has a suggestion or an in on how to order those parts, I would appreciate it!

Are you sure you or installer didn’t leave the plastic film on the glass in the inside of the dome glass?

Oh that would be sad....

 

I've had some decent success clearing scratched and hazy domes using a headlight cleaning solution and a drill mounted buffing pad.

The cameras are now 3 years old and the issue has really gotten worse in the past 6 months, so I'm sure there's no film on there. The issues are strictly on the outside and whatever is on it just won't come off. I've used all kinds of glass cleaners, but I can certainly give the headlight solution and buffing pad a try for the scratched portion. I still would like to find a way to get my hands on replacement domes though.
