Help with Vizio Driver

Recommended Posts

I'm stumped, as i can't get this thing to work.

The TV network connection is working (i can ping it, and it can verify status).

Driver shows enabled, and network connection.

In C4 IP Network Connections the driver shows yellow-Offline.

When i go to pairing - the 4 digits shows on the TV, but doesn't seem to pair with the driver and cause an online status.

Oddly, C4 can turn the TV on/off when I select my appletv (only device connected to the TV).

Looking for any thoughts to get this working. Wife is hating using the vizio driver for sound and C4 driver for everything else...

try it hardwired. when i was using that driver it worked best that way also the tv is turning off and on with the apple tv because of cec. i would disable that as well.

Unfortunate for me, the driver is there because IR wasn’t and option the way we have things in our pool house.

Hardwire meaning Ethernet to the tv if you can

Same answer.....there's no cabling out to the TV...unfortunate oversight....

Anyway, update: I needed to redo the room bindings in order to get volume to work (we had made a previous change for music, my bad).

The Driver still shows OFFLINE, which confusing with it working.
