Philips Hue integration. Best driver in 2022 ?

Hi All,

I am currently upgrading my old Hue V1 bridge to a V2. I am having issues getting stuff working correctly in c4. Read so many threads but it getting confusing. Maybe it's because I have both bridges still in my project. Anyhow, is there a good driver to purchase other than the free one ? I see som stuff online but not sure which is best. There is also a nice color wheel one available but im trying to make the best move.

Any advice would be very appreciated.

I'd stick with the one from C4, it works fine whenever we've used it. Not sure what issues you're having but...stick it out for now.

what i meant by issues is i end up with many lights in my control interface

I personally find that I don't change the colours very often.  What I have done is not include the different colours in Control4 - I just have On/Off and in some cases brightness.  If I want to change colours then I can go into the Hue app and change them there.

Same here. Basically on off.

Would the brightness driver be enough? That would remove the on off And rgb.

0 brightness would turn it off.

then i plan on using experience buttons for the colors i want.

That's likely the best way right now.
