Rob21
I am looking for an HDMI cord that is at least 160 ft long. I typically use Clearline but they on only make cables up to 130 ft long. My goal is to be futureproof so 8K would be preferred. I would like to avoid baluns. If anyone has any recommendations please let me know. BY96
I would highly suggest Celerity Technologies. Basically, it is a fiber optic cable with switchable connectors. You then add the connectors at the source and display. In theory, the fiber cable is limitless, so in the future, you can always upgrade the HDMI plugs, but the current ones are rated at 48Gbps (which will pass 8k) up to 1000 feet. They are pricey, but worth it. The first generation of Celerity cables did not have the best reviews, simply because the connectors weren't great. I have both the older and newer cables and there is was a major quality upgrade with the newer ones. I am extremely happy with the cable. You can also add a wall-late with the connectors attach to. https://celeritytek.com/index.html Rob21
