fredsoneya
I have a (not by choice) Sony Android TV integrated with a basic C4 system in my apartment away from home. I’m not sure why, but when I power on via C4 the TV then ends up going off and needing to be turned on again manually. It “clicks” like it’s had a command sent to it to power cycle. anyone had this problem before? checked all TV settings like auto power, shop mode etc.

fredsoneya
The option is grayed out so I always thought it was turned off however it’s actually greyed out turned on? when I click it says can’t turn off when using compataible audio (Sonos Beam??) That sonos beam is just connected to arc
fredsoneya
Found some audio settings which had sync on, turned off and all fixed (even though the above option is still greyed out). thank you eggzlot
BrokenNote
That's great that you have it working again. I've had issues with a similar model in the past also in which on/off reliability would be temperamental. In the end, I had to ditch the IP control and go back to IR. Customer hasn't had any problems since. Strange thing is that the same house has another Bravia that has rock solid with IP control. Go figure. I’ve gone from every time having the problem to now about 2-3 times a week. I think I’m going to try IR, I hadn’t even considered that!
